Field of view: 20 mm. Schorl associated with quartz. The radial groups of long black prisms are schorl. The translucent white host with a vitreous luster is quartz.
Recovered from a quartz vein in an accretionary complex subjected to Greenschsit facies high-pressure metamorphism.
