  • [ Etymology ] ion + anthus in Latin (violet + flower)
  • [ Etymology ] Druid, a member of the high-ranking professional class in ancient Celtic cultures.
  • White flower variety. The Druid of Guatemala form is also known.
  • The flowers of 'Albino' is pure yellow as it does not have red pigments. On the other hand, those of 'Druid' is also white but its leaves turn yellow with a red tint in the sunny place.
  • 'Druid' may be sold under the name of 'Peach' as its leaves turn apricot yellow with a strong red tint during blooming periods. Flowers of true 'Peach' is purple.
