Field of view: 50 mm. Almandine in amphibolite. The brown grains are almandine. The dark green bed is aggregate of magnesiohornblende. The white bed is plagioclase altered by retrograde metamorphism.
Recovered from amphibolite formed by Amphibolite facies metamorphism. Formed in the early Eocene (55 Ma).
