Occurrence
Beryl-Columbite-Phosphate subtype rare-element pegmatite
Rare-element pegmatite in Paleocene - Eocene Tsukuba Granite intruded in Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks, Jurassic - Cretaceous Low P/T metamorphic rocks. The protolith of Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks is Kasama Formation.
Distant view of an outcrop of Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks. The outcrop is mostly composed of black Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks. The white part at the upper part of the outcrop is Tsukuba Granite intruded in Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks.
Pegmatite is observed in Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks. The black host is Tsukuba Metamorphic Rocks. The white vein cut the hot is a pegmatite of Tsukuba Granite. The outer part of the vein is mainly composed of opaque white feldspars, and the inner part includes grey quartz and silver muscovite.
