Tillandsia (Phytarrhiza) paleacea C. Presl
- [ Etymology ] paleaceus in Latin (having bracteolates)
- There is an opinion that it is conspecific with Tillandsia streptocarpa.
- Silver leaves are covered with long trichomes.
- It forms a large clump by offsetting frequently.
- It resembles Tillandsia arhiza but the infflorescence is simple. The inflorescence of Tillandsia arhiza is branched.
- It resembles Tillandsia streptocarpa but the stem is longer than leaves. The stem of Tillandsia streptocarpa is shorter than leaves.
