Field of view: 5 mm. Radial groups of linarite. The radial groups of long blue prisms are linarite. The brown basement is limonite.
Recovered from a meteoric oxidation zone of a pneumatolytic deposit combined with skarn formed by contact metamorphism of I-type (magnetite-series) granite.
The first linarite from Japan was reported from this location in 1895.
