The blooming period is 25 days between April and May. Pale purple flowers with 3 petals whose tips are closed. A pistil is sticked out of petals. The inflorescence is green and divided into 5 branches of flower spikes. 1 - 4 flowers bloom in a flower spike, and totaly 14 flowers bloomed in 2019. A flower blooms only for a day. Flowers bloom from the bottom side of the inflorescence at intervals of 6 - 10 days. It looks like T. polystachia but there are differences as follows: Bracts of the inflorescence are long and pendulous; The lower half of the flower spikes is covered by bracts.
