The inflorescence grows at the growing point of the foliage. The inflorescence divided into 5 branches with flower spikes. The total length of the inflorescence is 18 cm, and that of flower spikes is 3 - 5 cm. It looks like T. polystachia but there are differences as follows: Bracts of the inflorescence are long and pendulous; The lower half of the flower spikes is covered by bracts.
