Field of view: 3 mm. Roscoelite associated with rhodonite. The micaceous pale green crystal at the center is roscoelite. The surrounding massive pink host is Rhodonite.
Recovered from a chert-hosted bedded manganese deposit subjected to Albite-Epidote-hornfels facies contact metamorphism.
Roscoelite from this location was described in 1980.
