Field of view: 30 mm. Datolite associated with axinite-(Fe). The massive white part at the center of the vein is datolite. The thin pale purple zones at the both sides of datolite are axinite-(Fe). The green host is basaltic tuff subjected to Prehnite-Pumpellyite facies metamorphism. Recovered from an axinite-(Fe) vein in basaltic tuff of an accretionary complex subjected to Prehnite-Pumpellyite facies metamorphism.
Datolite from this location was described in 1999.
