Field of view: 10 mm. Crystals of chabazite-Ca. The rhombohedral white grains with a vitreous luster are chabazite-Ca. All white grains in the photograph are chabazite-Ca, and the group at the right is a penetration twin. The black part at the bottom is the host psammitic schist.
Recovered from an open space of a zeolite vein in sandstone subjected to Greenschist facies metamorphism.
Chabazite-Ca from this location was described in 2005.
