Aurichalcite
Araya, Aga city, Higashi-Kambara county, Niigata pref., Japan
Field of view: 5 mm. Aurichalcite in an open space of a quartz vein. The micaceous pale blue crystals are aurichalcite. The light brown basement is quartz encrusted with limonite. The light gray grains are not identified.
Recovered from an open space of a quartz vein in a meteoric oxidation zone of a moderate-temperature hydrothermal deposit associated with rhyolite.
