Circumstances

Water flowing channels in the flood plain. Erosion is dominant at the outer curves of mindered channels, and deposition is dominant at point bars of the inner curves of mindered channels. The current is a direction and fast.

Sedimentary facies (Sediments)

Sands with fine gravels and fine sands. Mud crusts are observed.

Sedimentary facies (Structures)

Large scale (3 - 5 m) cross stratifications including small scale trough cross-stratifications and current ripples. Dunes. Channel structures are formed in case channels are switched frequently.
