It flowered in May.

The petal was violet C20 M60 Y0 K0. The bract was pale red C0 M40 Y40 K10 at the tip and red C0 M60 Y40 K10 at the base.

The tube flower was composed of 3 petals whose tips were edged and reflexed outside. The flower was L 15 mm and D 4 mm. 6 yellow stamens and a white pistil protruded 2 - 5 mm and 6 mm, respectively.

A flower blooms for 2 days. The inflorescence was composed of a main spike and a side spike, and the main spike flowered first. 5 flowers produced on the main spike, and a flower on the side spike. Flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the spike at intervals of 2 - 4 days.
