It flowered in March - June. The petal was pale yellow CMYK=(0, 0, 30, 0) at the tip and violet CMYK=(60, 80, 30, 0) at the bottom. The bract was red CMYK=(0, 60, 40, 0). The tube flower was composed of 3 petals whose tips are reflexed outside. A flower blooms for 2 days. 3 - 4 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the inflorescence at intervals of 5 - 18 days. The flower was L 25 mm and D 4 mm. The 6 stamens and the pistil protruded 7 - 10 mm and 5 mm, respectively.

Petals are yellow but those basement is purple. This type of bi-color flower is not rare for hybrid species.
