A short inflorescence grows at the growing point of the foliage. Floral bracks are green and the inflorescence is shorter than leaves. The inflorescence is 45 mm long, where the flower spike is 22 mm long. On the other hands, floral bracts of Tillandsia tortilis are pink and the inflorescence is much longer than leaves.
