The inflorescence is not branched and grows at the growing point of the foliage. Floral bracks are pink and the inflorescence is much longer than leaves. On the other hands, floral bracts of Tillandsia lepidosepala are green and the inflorescence is shorter than leaves. 1 - 2 flowers bloomed on the flower spike. The total length of the inflorescence was 80 - 95 mm, and that of the flower spike was 25 - 30 mm in maximum.
