Field of view: 10 mm. A vein of xonotlite. The vertical columnar to radial groups of acicular transparent crystals are xonotlite.
Recovered from a xonotlite vein in gabbro of an accretionary complex subjected to Prehnite-Pumpellyite facies metamorphism.
Xonotlite from this location was described in 1975.
