Smithsonite

Field of view: 10 mm. Radial groups of smithsonite. The radial groups of pale brown fibers are smithsonite. The transparent basement with a vitreous luster is gangue quartz. The black grain at the upper left is sphalerite, and the yellow grain at the top is chalcopyrite.
Recovered from an open space of a quartz vein in a moderate-temperature hydrothermal deposit associated with rhyolite.
