Field of view: 5 mm. Euhedral crystals of pyromorphite. The hexagonal green prisms are pyromorphite. The pale brown to white basement is quartz encrusted with limonite.
Recovered from a meteoric oxidation zone of a pneumatolytic deposit combined with skarn formed by contact metamorphism of I-type (magnetite-series) granite.
The first pyromorphite from Japan was reported from this location in 1895.
