Field of view: 7 mm. Muscovite associated with quartz. The radial groups of silver-white platy crystals exhibiting perfect cleavage are muscovite. The transparent white parts are quartz.
Recovered from an open space of an alpine fissure in a S-type (Ilmenite-series) margin of I-type (Magnetite-series) granite formed by the reduction reation of granite magma with pelitic rocks. Formed in the late Miocene (10 Ma),
