Field of view: 50 mm. Mesolite filling a vesicule. The radial group of white prisms is mesolite. The pale brown part at the bottom of mesolite is epistilbite. The black host is andesite.
Recovered from a vesicule of an andesitic pillow lava of Hosoonotaki Volcanics Member.
Mesolite from this location was described in 1896.
