Langite?
Araya, Aga city, Higashi-Kambara county, Niigata pref., Japan
Field of view: 3 mm. Two yellowish-green prisms at the center are probably langite. The surrounding pale blue crusts are aurichalcite. The brown grains underlying aurichalcite are siderite, the white parts are gangue quartz.
Recovered from an open space of a quartz vein in a meteoric oxidation zone of a moderate-temperature hydrothermal deposit associated with rhyolite.
