Field of view: 100 mm. Phenocrysts of hornblende. The black prisms are hornblende. The white spots are anorthite.
Recovered from a calc-alkaline andesite dike intruded in granoporphyry. Formed in the early Pliocene (4 Ma).
Hornblende from this location was described in 1963.
