Ganophyllite
Shiromaru, Okutama city, Nishi-Tama county, Tokyo, Japan

Field of view: 10 mm. Ganophyllite associated with albite. The group of tabular pale yellow crystals is ganophyllite. The surrounding white parts are gangue albite.
Recovered from an albite vein of a chert-hosted bedded manganese deposit subjected to Zeolite facies metamorphism.
Ganophyllite from this location was described in 1985.
