Field of view: 10 mm. Chromite grains. The black grains with a metallic luster are chromite. The dark green parts are host serpentinite. The brown parts are limonite crusts on the surface of serpentinite.
Recovered from serpentinite formed by serpentinization alteration of peridotite in an ophiolite.
