Adamite

Field of view: 10 mm. A botryoidal group of Cu-bearing adamite. The green parts with a resinous luster are adamite. It is green as some amount of Zn is replaced by Cu. The host is the skarn ore mainly composed of calcite.
Recovered from a meteoric oxidation zone of a moderately high-temperature hydrothermal deposit combined with skarn formed by contact metamorphism of I-type (Magnetite-series) granite associated with a caldera complex.
