Prehnite-Pumpellyite facies bedded manganese deposit
Chert-hosted bedded manganese deposit in a chert block of Sumaizuku unit, a member of accretionary complexes of Northern Chichibu Belt.

Outcrop of an oxidation zone near a manganese deposit. The thick black crust is manganese oxide ore, possibly composed of cryptomelane. The pale red host is chert of Sumaizuku unit.
