It flowered in December - March.

The petal is violet and the bract is dark pink.

The tube flower is composed of 3 petals whose tips are rounded and reflexed outside. 6 stamens and a white pistil are not visible.

It took only 2 weeks to bloom after the inflorescence appeared.

A flower blooms for 3 - 5 days. Approximately 9 - 10 flowers bloom from the bottom side of the inflorescence everyday.
