Upper left: Tillandsia funebris, Lower left: Tillandsia funebris, Upper right: Tillandsia rectangula, Lower right: Tillandsia funebris. Tillandsia rectangula is smaller than Tillandsia funebris. The leaves of Tillandsia funebris is longer than the stem, and Tillandsia funebris tends to make a clump of foliages. On the other hand, the leaves of Tillandsia rectangula is shorter than the stem, and Tillandsia rectangula tends to make fewer offsets.
