It flowered in May - June.

The petal was purple C40 M60 Y0 K0 and the bract was reddish brown C10 M100 Y60 K60.

Tips of 3 petals of the tube flower were edged and reflexed outside. The tube flower was L 25 mm and D 3 mm. 6 yellow stamens and a white pistil protruded 7 mm and 8 mm, respectively.

A flower bloomed for a day. 4 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the spike at intervals of 4 - 8 days.
