Tillandsia (Anoplophytum) montana Reitz (1962)

[ Etymology ] montanus in Latin (of or from mountain)

Some researchers treat Tillandsia seideliana as a synonym of Tillandsia montana.
It resembles Tillandsia stricta. Petals of Tillandsia stricta are ligulate, whereas those of Tillandsia montana is ovate.
The growing point often stops to grow, and then it produces an offset.
