The flowering period was 42 days from May to June. Green flowers with 3 petals whose tips are edged and reflexed outside. 6 stamens and a pistil are slightly sticked out of petals. A flower blooms for 2 days. 12 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the inflorescence at intervals of 1 - 5 days. The inflorescence is very long and pendulous. Note that the flower is along the axis of the flower spike, whereas that of Tillandsia fresnilloensis is apart from it. Petals were 18 mm long. Stamens and the pistil protruded from the tip of petals 16 mm long each.
