Highest ventilation condition

Hang in the air.


[ Material ] Hang plants by using wires or strings.

[ Location ] Place it in the well-ventilated site.

[ Direction of the rosette ] There are 3 types of species: the rosette prefers to turn upward, prefers to turn down ward, and prefers both. The photographs of the natural habitat will be helpful to decide it. When in doubt, it is good to set the rosette lateral direction as the plant begins to grow to the direction it prefers. The species which prefers the downward setting are, for example, Tillandsia atroviridipetala, Tillandsia pseudobaileyi, Tillandsia relinata, Tillandsia thiekenii, Tillandsia usneoides, Tillandsia mallemontii.


[ Important points ]

Avoid black ones and/or those made of metal because plants can be sunburned touching on the heated materials by strong sunlight in summer.
