• Intruded by: Mochigase Granite, Tari-Nekoyama Body, Inazumiyama Body, Porphyrite dikes, Andesite dikes, Diorite dikes, Biotite granite, Hornblende biotite granite, Dolerite, Basalt, Gabbro, Diorite

• Metamorphic facies: Pumpellyite-Actinolite, Blueschist
• Lithofacies: Mafic rocks, Pelitic rocks
• Lithofacies (Minor): Serpentine
• Lithofacies (Protolith): Slate, Phyllite, Chert
• Lithofacies (Protolith, Minor): Sandstone, Basalt lava, Calcareous rocks

• Upper limit: Unconformity (Tsukudani Formation, Koge Formation, Kawabara Volcanic Member, Teragi Group, Nagisan Andesites, Obatake Rhyolite, Gandoya Tuff Breccia, Tsugawagawa Conglomerate, Yodo Basalt Lava, Kuroiwa Basalt Lava)
• Lower limit: Thrust fault (Akiyoshi Belt)

• Distribution: Hokuriku region - Kinki region - Sanin region - Kyushu region - Okinawa islands
