Coherent formation
Pliocene - Pleistocene

Sedimentary facies: Fluvial, Lacustrine
Lithofacies: Interbedded sands and silt
Lithofacies (Minor): Gravels
Sedimentary structures: Planar cross-stratification, Parallel stratification

Thickness: ca. 80 m or thicker
Upper limit: Bottom of the horizon of gravel-dominant bed including Hacchoike Tephra.
Upper limit: Transitional (Shodai Formation)
Lower limit: Top of Ss-Pnk
