Field of view: 50 mm. A group of granular rhodochrosite crystals. The pink grains are rhodochrosite. The crystals with large cleavage surfaces at the upper left of this photograph is rhodonite.
Recovered from a chert-hosted bedded manganese deposit subjected to Albite-Epidote-hornfels facies contact metamorphism.
