Realgar
Enzan-Hirasawa, Koshu city, Yamanashi pref., Japan
Field of view: 1 mm. Realgar crusts. The reddish-orange crusts are realgar. The surrounding transparent parts with a vitreous luster are gangue quartz. The black parts are dirt.
Recovered from a quartz vein in a combination deposit of a low-temperature hydrothermal deposit and a moderate-temperature hydrothermal deposit in I-type (Magnetite-series) granite.
