Sukayu hot spring

Field of view: 30 mm. Opal deposited from hydrothermal fluid related to the hot spring. The opaque white parts are opal. The surrounding yellowish brown parts are altered tuff.
Recovered from a hot spring hydrothermal deposit in the vicinity of a fumarole.
