Natrolite

Field of view: 3 mm. Prismatic crystals of natrolite. The quadrangular transparent prisms with triangle faces at terminations are natrolite. The natrolite prisms are vertical to the natrolite vein. The massive grayish-green part at the lower left is the host hyaloclastite.

Recovered from an open space of a natrolite vein in hyaloclastite in an accretionary complex.

Natrolite from this location was described in 1936.
