Field of view: 50 mm. Crystals of jarosite. The transparent brown grains are jarosite. The grayish-white basement is altered tuff of Motoyama Pyroclastic Flow Deposit.
Recovered from tuff altered by volcanic gas.
Jarosite from this location was described in 1997.
