Field of view: 5 mm. Groups of clinoclase. The radial groups of bluish-green needles are clinoclase. The pale gray basement is gangue quartz.
Recovered from an open space of a quartz vein in a meteoric oxidation zone of a high-temperature hydrothermal deposit.
Clinoclase from this location was described in 2000.
