Bake sphalerite and/or wurtzite.

Reduce zinc oxide by baking with coke.

Add smithsonite into hot sulfuric acid.

ZnCO3 + H2SO4 ZnSO4 + CO2

Crystallize zinc sulfate and make purity higher. Silver is recovered from residue.

Dissolve crystals of zinc sulfate, and apply electrodialysis.
