Width: 10 mm. Penta crinoid fossil. Local people call this "Baika-seki" (Apricot stone) as its cross section looks like flower petals of Japanese apricot. Recovered from the shale outcrop of the lower part of the Middle Jurassic (165 Ma) Kuzuryu Subgroup in the Tedori Group. The sedimentary environment of the Kuzuryu Subgroup is shallow marine.
