The blooming period is approximately 2 months between January and March. Purple flowers with 3 petals whose tips are white. 6 yellow stamens and a white pistil are sticked out of petals. The inflorescence is red and divided into 3 branches. A flower blooms for 5 days, and flowers bloom from the bottom side of the inflorescence at intervals of 7 days. Each branch of the spike begins to bloom simutaneously.
