The blooming period is a week between March and October. Purple tube flowers with 3 petals whose bottom is white and tips are reflexed outside. 6 stamens and a white pistil are not visible. Flower bracts are white with pink tips. It took only a week to bloom after the flower spike appeared. A flower blooms for 3 days. A pair of flowers of 15 or less flowers bloom from the bottom side of the inflorescence everyday.
