It flowered in March - April. Red flowers are composed of 3 petals. 6 stamens and a pistil are not visible. The flower bracts are pink and covered with few trichomes. A flower blooms for 3 days. Approximately 8 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the main spike at intervals of 1 - 4 days. There were 5 side spikes. 2 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of each side spike at intervals of 3 days. The petal was 3 - 6 mm long and the tube flower was 2 mm in diameter.
