Circumstances
Wetlands where oligotrophic water is supplied. High lands where plants grow by the rain waters and snowmelt. Earth is chemically acid with a pH of 4 - 5, and decomposition speed of organic matters is very low because of low temperature. As a result, peat is produced from organic matters. High moors are at the high lands which are formed by deposition of peat produced from plant remains of low moors. High moors are formed at high latitude region, and at cool climate region from cold temperate to subarctic region. Examples are a part of Kushiro wetland and Oze wetland.
