Lithofacies (Contact metamorphism): Andalusite muscovite hornfels
Sedimentary structures: Eutaxitic structure

Thickness: 800 m or thicker
Upper limit: Unconformity (Hata Formation, Karakuri Dacite)
Lower limit: Unconformity (Shimotone Body, Onbara Granite)
