It had been define as a member of Hida Gaien Belt but was separated by re-definition of Hida Gaien Belt.
- Type locality: Gamatagawa river, Gamata, Okuhidaonsengo, Takayama city, Gifu prefecture
- High P/T metamorphic rocks
- Correlation: Yarigatake Metamorphic Rocks
- Intruded by: Granite porphyry
- Metamorphic facies: Greenschist
- Metamorphic facies (Minor): Epidote-Amphibolite
- Lithofacies: Mafic schist
- Lithofacies (Minor): Psammitic schist, Pelitic schist
- Thickness: 500 m or thicker
- Distribution: Gamata - Fukuji - Hanedaira - Kurodani valley - Sodegadani - Konebedani - Hotakadaira - Migimatadani valley - Fukatani valley, Okuhidaonsen, Takayama city, Gifu pref.
